Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage civils projects on utilities sites.
- Oversee the daily operations on site, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to budget.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client liaison, ensuring excellent communication and relationship management with clients.
- Manage and supervise site operatives, ensuring safety standards and project specifications are adhered to.
- Utilize programming software (e.g., Microsoft Project) to effectively plan, manage, and track project timelines and progress.
- Demonstrate strong commercial awareness, ensuring that financials are managed effectively and within the set budget.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in contract management in the utilities sector, specifically with electricity and water.
- Strong knowledge of the electricity and water utilities industry, including the associated processes and standards.
- Proficient in project management software such as Microsoft Project.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, manage stakeholders, and supervise site teams effectively.
- Solid experience in managing site operatives and ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Commercially astute with a keen eye for managing project budgets and costs.
