Contracts Manager - North West England
Exciting opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to join our dynamic team in the North West of England. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of civil engineering, earthwork, and remediation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage operational and commercial activities for assigned projects
Ensure projects meet safety, programme, and financial targets
Oversee project teams and subcontractors
Implement and maintain company Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality Management systems
Drive project profitability and client satisfaction
Forge quality relationships with existing and potential clients
Key Requirements:
Ideally North West based with a valid driving licence
Proven track record managing civil engineering, earthwork, and remediation projects as both main contractor and sub-contractor
Experience with projects typically valued at £2.75m (range £100k - £7.5m)
Demonstrable success in a similar contracts manager role with a tier 2 contractor
Degree or HND level education, preferably with an engineering background
Minimum training: CSCS and SMSTS/NEBOSH certifications
Willingness to work in a hands-on environment
Strong leadership and communication skills
Remuneration and Benefits:
Salary up to £80,000 per annum
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
