Contracts Manager

Skilled Careers is working with a leading client in the social housing sector, we are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee repairs and maintenance contracts across the North West. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven professional to lead large-scale housing repairs projects and manage key contractor relationships.

Overview for the role:

Job Title: Repairs Contracts Manager

Location: Sale, Greater Manchester

Rate: £46,000 - £55,000 + Car Allowance

Responsibilities of the Contracts Manager:

• Lead the management of all repairs and maintenance across 20,000 social housing properties
• Oversee contractor work valued between £3M - £5M annually
• Collaborate with internal teams to recruit and retain long-term contractors
• Maintain strong contractor relationships through progress meetings, monthly valuations, and quality assurance

Requirements for Contracts Manager role:

• Social Housing experience in a similar role
• Contractor management experience (sub-contractors and/or external)
• Preferable knowledge of JCT/TPC/TAC-1/NEC or similar forms of contract
• Degree qualification in a property-related field OR extensive industry experience
• Full UK Driving License
