We are seeking experienced Contracts Managers based in the North West to join a dynamic team focused on delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services. In this role, you will oversee a group of partner contractors managing an annual portfolio of work valued between 3m and 5m.
Each Contracts Manager will be accountable for the successful delivery of repair services across a portfolio of approximately 20,000 properties. You will work collaboratively with a dedicated, directly employed team to ensure the highest standards of service. The role reports to a senior leader within the Maintenance Services department.
Key responsibilities include building and maintaining strong relationships with contractors, monitoring their financial and operational performance through established key performance indicators, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure the recruitment and retention of long-term, reliable contractors.

We are looking for candidates with a proven track record in managing property maintenance contractors, ideally within a social housing context. Strong experience in improving performance and driving value for money through effective contract management, as well as a solid understanding of commercial and contractual principles, is essential.
Contracts Managers will be responsible for managing contractor relationships holistically, including regular progress meetings, approving monthly valuations, and ensuring work meets quality and customer service standards.
