Residential Conveyancing Paralegal

Job Description:

MPJ Recruitment are proud to be working with a well established multi-discipline Solicitor based in South Manchester, who are currently looking for an established Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join their team.

You’ll work closely with our clients, estate agents and other key stakeholders to handle property transactions, draft legal documents and provide legal advice on property matters, ensuring a smooth conveyancing process.

Responsibilities:

  • Title Checks
  • Mortgage reports
  • Drafting documents and contracts
  • Advising clients on the law and assessing the firms ability to help
  • Researching documents and case law
  • Negotiating with clients and other parties
  • Coordinating work of all parties and checking documentation
  • Attending and arranging client meetings
  • Pursuing title, search results and reporting to the client and the lender
  • Complying with all mortgage conditions
  • Preparing reports to clients

About You:

  • Experience dealing with freehold, leasehold, new builds, sales and purchases
  • Experience dealing with remortgages, plot sales, transfers of equity and declaration of trust
  • Landlord and tenant work, leasehold extensions, enfranchisement and shared equity
  • Granting, assignment and acquisition of business leases
  • Ability to handle challenging conveyancing matters and enjoying the challenge of doing so
  • Ability to handle challenging clients and communicating effectively
