Role Title: CBS Cash Analyst - Funeralcare
Pay: 18 p/h PAYE

Work Pattern: Mon - Fri, 9:00a.m - 5:00p.m
Purpose
To control and reconcile the cash reconciliations for the Funeralcare arm of the Co-Operative Group. This role involves resolving complex issues and supporting an improved reconciliation process, ensuring that risks are evaluated and remedied in a timely and accurate manner. The position also plays a key role in assisting the Cash and Banking Manager (Funeralcare) to deliver successful projects.

Contribution
The CBS Cash Analyst contributes to the Co-op's vision by:
- Expertise in Reconciliation:
Becoming an expert in the reconciliation of complex balance sheet reconciliations. - Developing Reports:
Creating reports for internal customers to resolve outstanding reconciliation queries. - Supporting Advisors and Senior Advisors:
Assisting with complex queries and providing support to advisors and senior advisors. - Supporting Team Development:
Assisting the Cash and Banking Manager with team development and creating training guides (both written and video-based). - Guiding Teams and Stakeholders:
Leading the Funeralcare Finance administration team and other upstream stakeholders to help clear outstanding reconciling entries and prevent them from occurring in the future. - Business Change Programmes:
Providing specialist knowledge and ad hoc support to Cash Reconciliation Managers and colleagues during system rollouts and business change initiatives. - Managing Complex Account Queries:
Resolving complex account queries and disputes. - Process Improvement:
Identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous process improvement.

Manage and resolve complex queries with key stakeholders.
Capabilities
The CBS Cash Analyst should possess the following capabilities:
- AAT Studying or Qualified:
Actively studying or qualified in AAT, or have relevant accounting experience (desirable). - Proficient in using Power Bi
- Handling Large Volumes of Transactions:
Comfortable dealing with large volumes of transactions. - Understanding Complex Processes:
Ability to understand and manage complex processes. - Attention to Detail:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Excel Skills (Essential):
Proficient in Microsoft Excel. - PowerPoint Skills (Desirable):
Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint (desirable). - Effective Communication (Essential):
Strong verbal and written communication skills. - SAP Experience (Desirable):
Experience with SAP (desirable). - Experience with Reconciliation Systems:
Experience of reconciliation systems, setting up matching, and technical system rules and standing data (desirable).
