We are looking to recruit an Appointment taking Insolvency Practitioner with a minimum of 6 yearscorporate experience to join a growing independent Insolvency practice based in Greater Manchester.

Our Client

An established, growing and progressive business advisory practice based in the Northwest with an excellent reputation in providing services to businesses and individuals throughout the region and further afield.

Their highly experienced Corporate Insolvency Team principally delivers MVL’s, CVL’s, Administrations, CVA’s and some Personal Bankruptcies and IVA’s engagements for a broad range of clients across all sectors/industries in the UK.

Main areas responsibility will include:

  • Undertake formal insolvency appointments
  • Lead and manage own diverse portfolio of corporate insolvency cases, including MVL’s, CVL’s, Administrations, CVA’s and some Personal Bankruptcies and IVA’s.
  • Manage own team and ensure all statutory deadlines are adhered to
  • Conduct complex financial analysis, cash flow forecasting, and viability assessments for distressed companies.
  • Provide clear advice and support to clients, directors, and creditors on insolvency options and recovery strategy
  • Preparation and attendance of meetings with Directors, Creditors and Solicitors
Experience and Skills
  • The role is suited to a JIEB qualified Appointment Taking IP/ Director/Senior Manager
  • Minimum of 6 years insolvency experience
  • Excellent insolvency technical skills
  • Experience of managing a portfolio of insolvency cases
  • An ability to manage a workload across a variety of industries
  • Good all rounder
  • Experience of controlling billings and WIP
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Skills to develop a small team
