Risk Manager - Manchester

We are currently working with a prestigious Main Contractor who are looking for a Risk Manager to join them working within the Rail sector.

Location: Manchester

Salary: 65 000 - 80 000 plus additional benefits

Positions Responsibilities:

* Manage/Lead the project risk management program across the project.
* Drive focus on actively managing risks.
* Mentor, train, and advise project leaders in risk awareness.
* Deliver training in project risk management.
* Facilitate context focused Workshops monthly.
* Deliver to the Project Execution Plan and develop specific project risk management procedures.
* Report top risks and quantitative analysis to key internal and external stakeholders.
* Represent the project risk management program at project leadership meetings.


Basic Qualifications:

* Experience in Qualitative Risk
* Ability to establish Quantitative Risk Management (QSRA QCRA)
* Experience facilitating risk workshops, risk reviews/ sessions.
* Professional experience in engineering and construction with direct responsibility for management.
* Established Rail and transportation experience
* Experience working in rail sector preferably.
* Knowledge of international risk standards (e.g., ISO31000, PMI, etc.), and risk management tools (e.g., ARM, At-Risk, etc.).
* Experience with the holistic approach of risk management at portfolio and/or program level.
* Experience managing multi-discipline teams.
* Excellent communication skills (English language) at multiple levels of management and client relations.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
