Full-time/Permanent The Role:

Do you have a passion for developing skills and empowering learners to achieve their full potential? We’re seeking an enthusiastic Skills Development Tutor to design and deliver high-quality training across a range of programmes, including apprenticeships, adult learning, and study programmes. You'll play a vital role in equipping learners with the knowledge, skills, and behaviours they need to succeed, while also helping businesses boost productivity through training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspire and Engage Learners: Build meaningful relationships with learners to motivate them toward achieving their goals.
  • Innovative Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver both face-to-face and blended digital training that promotes retention and application of knowledge, skills, and behaviours (KSB).
  • Support Learner Progression: Regularly review progress, provide constructive feedback, and set SMART targets in collaboration with learners, employers, and stakeholders.
  • Manage Caseloads: Maintain strong relationships with clients to support business retention, learner progression, and new opportunities.
  • Ensure Quality and Safety: Adhere to health and safety procedures, respond proactively to safeguarding concerns, and make adjustments to meet individual learner needs.

About You -

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven expertise in the Motor Vehicle sector (Light and Heavy) is a must.
  • 1-2 years of experience in teaching, learning, and assessment.
  • A diploma in Education and Training (or working toward it).
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, Excel, and eLearning platforms to enhance the learning experience.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and organisational skills to support learners effectively.

Desirable Qualities:

  • Up-to-date knowledge of your specialist area and relevant professional qualifications.
  • The ability to create innovative and engaging learning materials tailored to individual learner needs.
