Russell - Taylor Group has a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary nurse/surgeon (RCVS registered) who is looking to get out of the practise and travel whilst using their technical veterinary knowledge in a commercial setting. This is a unique opportunity and the perfect chance for someone who loves to travel and explore various cultures. You will be travelling around Europe, leaving from a UK airport (Heathrow, Birmingham, Edinburgh or Manchester) on Monday and returning to the UK on a Friday. Responsibilities • Help to remain as the preferred suppliers to all distributors.• You will be acting as the technical face to the European markets within the veterinary nutraceutical market.• Design and implement a solid strategy for the international technical department.• Deliver regular technical training and support to all distributors.• Implement an international Key Opinion Leader strategy.• Contribute at key international veterinary shows and congresses.• Co-ordinate and implement international technical marketing activities• Organise regional training meetings.• Participate in World Distributor Meetings.• Ensure efficient management reporting.• Participate positively in the management team and actively help to develop the company culture.The Person• You must have previous experience working as a veterinary nurse/surgeon and be registered to the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)-essential.• Fundamental that you are happy to travel overseas every week- this is must!• Valid UK passport• Full UK driving licence • Excellent understanding of the veterinary nutritional market.• Exceptional IT knowledge in MS Excel and PowerPoint.• Flexibility to changing environments.• Ability to work well within a team environment but also independently.• High ethical values and interest in other cultures.• In commutable distance to one of the Uks international airports (Manchester, Heathrow, Birmingham or Edinburgh).
