Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate and driven Year 3 Teacher with great classroom management to join our team on a Long term basis, to cover a for a one year placement in a Year 3 class in M40. The successful candidate will have experience teaching in Year 3 upper KS1 /Lower KS2, with a focus on Year 3. This role requires strong Classroom management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality education to our students.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably in Year 3
Strong Classroom management skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to create engaging and differentiated lessons
Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive and respectful learning environment
Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans and assessment strategies
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required
Uphold school policies and procedures, including behaviour management and safeguarding protocols
