About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for somebody who is looking to start their career in an office-based environment as a Legal Administrator. The role would suit an individual who is looking to gain experience in professional office environment. The successful applicant will be based in our Prestwich office and would be working within the pension and investment financial claims department.

Within this role you will be relied upon to carry out the administrative functions required by the team. You will be responsible for effectively prioritising and coordinating your workload, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.

We are looking to employ an individual with a positive attitude who takes pride in their work and wants to learn and progress over time.


Your duties will include:

Dealing with incoming and outgoing post on a daily basis, ensuring all documents received are uploaded to the CRM system and assigned to the correct case handler,

Speaking with clients to provide updates and chase outstanding information,

Sending requests to third parties and chasing outstanding information from them,

Chasing for updates for ongoing claims from various third parties including the Financial Ombudsman Service and Financial Services Compensation Scheme,

Completing any ad hoc requests from other members of staff.


Requirements:

Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues at all levels of the business, clients and third parties through various methods.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (predominantly Word and Excel) and Google Suite.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to effectively organise your own workload and prioritise tasks.

Attention to detail and accuracy to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard.

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, however this is not a requirement.
