Platinum Recruitment is working with a Crane Hire company to find their next Crane Engineer to join their established team covering Manchester and the North West.

Your responsibilities as a Crane Engineer will include:

Servicing, repairs and breakdown maintenance of mobile and mini cranes
Erection and dismantling of cranes on customer sites
Completing inspections to keep machinery in line with legal requirements
Liaising with service and hire controllers to ensure that machinery is maintained to a high standard, on their specified schedules

Experience essential for this role as a Crane Engineer

Full UK Driving Licence is required
Level 3 NVQ in a Mechanical Engineering discipline (or equivalent)
A good understanding of Hydraulic, Electric and Mechanical systems
Previous experience maintaining, diagnosing and repairing Cranes
Experience completing LOLER inspections
