Seeking a dedicated Credit Analyst to join our Accounting & Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing credit data and financial information of individuals or firms to determine the risk of granting credit.

Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Evaluating client's credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit.
  • Generating financial ratios to evaluate client's financial status.
  • Consulting with customers to resolve complaints and verify financial and credit transactions.
  • Preparing reports detailing the degree of risk involved in extending credit.
  • Reviewing individual or commercial customer files to identify and select delinquent accounts for collection.
  • Comparing liquidity, profitability, and credit histories of establishments being evaluated with those of similar establishments in the same industries and geographic locations.
  • Conferring with credit association and other business representatives to exchange credit information.
  • Completing loan applications, including credit analyses and summaries of loan requests, and submitting to loan committees for approval.

Profile

The successful candidate requires:

  • Proven experience in a finance or credit role
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent knowledge of credit-related laws.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other financial software.
  • An ability to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail.
