Marks Sattin are currently working with a Manchester based professional services business for the role of Assistant Credit Controller. The business is a market leader within their field, going through a period of change as they relocate their finance team to Leeds.

This role will assist with the early Collection steps in line with the companies credit policy to ensure both UK and department cash collection targets are achieved.

For this role, they will pay up to £28,000 on a 35-hour working week, 50% home working and 28 days holiday plus bank holidays. You will also be eligible for performance related bonuses.

This is a permanent position.

Other areas of responsibility include:

  • Ensure accurate and concise collection notes are maintained within the Firm's collection system to reflect the current debt position for internal reporting purposes
  • Identify client disputes and ensure prompt resolution by working with both internal and external clients whilst ensuring escalation procedures are adhered to at all times.
  • Provide a high standard of customer service at all times
  • Liaising with internal e-billing team in regard to invoice submissions and rejections.
  • Support the Firm's personal development initiatives and any departmental project
