Job DescriptionJob Duties:

Managing the credit control function within the accounting department.
Chasing outstanding debts from customers via phone, email, and letters.
Resolving invoice discrepancies and disputes.
Monitoring credit limits and releasing orders on hold.
Producing regular reports on aged debt and credit control KPIs.

Required Qualifications:

Previous experience in credit control or a related role.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Good communication and negotiation skills.

Education:

A-levels / GCSES

Experience:

Minimum of 1 years of experience in credit control

Knowledge and Skills:

Understanding of credit control procedures and best practises.
Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

Hybrid (2 days from home, 3 in the office).
37.5 hours, Monday to Friday.
