Job DescriptionJob Duties:
  • Managing the credit control function within the accounting department.
  • Chasing outstanding debts from customers via phone, email, and letters.
  • Resolving invoice discrepancies and disputes.
  • Monitoring credit limits and releasing orders on hold.
  • Producing regular reports on aged debt and credit control KPIs.
Required Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in credit control or a related role.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
Education:
  • A-levels / GCSES 
Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in credit control 
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Understanding of credit control procedures and best practises.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
  • Hybrid (2 days from home, 3 in the office).
  • 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday.
