Search Consultancy is supporting a well known organisation to recruit a diligent and experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is ready to manage and optimise our credit control processes within a dynamic and supportive environment. This role will be a temporary position and is urgently required for an immediate start.

Job Description:

You will be responsible for managing the company's credit and collections processes. Your duties will include monitoring customer accounts, ensuring timely payments, and reducing the risk of bad debt. You will liaise with customers to resolve payment issues, negotiate payment plans, and maintain accurate records of all communications. Additionally, you will prepare regular reports on credit status, analyse credit data, and recommend improvements to credit policies and procedures.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need to have proven experience in credit control or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with excellent communication and negotiation abilities. You should be highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel, is also required.
