Credit Control Supervisor

Salary: £30,000 - £36,000

Sellick Partnership have been engaged to recruit a Credit Control Supervisor for a well-established and growing business based in Manchester. The company has gone through a sustained period of growth in recent times and as a result an exciting opportunity has opened up within the Credit Control department.

As the Credit Control Supervisor, you will be working very closely alongside the Credit Control Manager and will be exposed to a number of responsibilities and duties allowing you to further develop your knowledge.

Responsibilities of the Credit Control Supervisor include:

  • Responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients
  • Accountable for the delivery of the team cash target and individual team KPIs; ensure the credit control team are maximising cash flow and keeping aged debt under control
  • Provide weekly reporting to the Credit Manager regarding cash collection and placement fees
  • Proactively recovering outstanding sales invoices as per agreed terms
  • Proactively reducing the debt of days to improve company cash flow
  • Posting cash received from clients to the ledger
  • Negotiate payment plans with clients to recover outstanding debts
  • Follow the debt chasing process through to court action
  • Performing other ad-hoc duties when needed

Successful Credit Control Supervisor candidates will be:

  • Experience of leading a small Credit Control team
  • Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and SAGE Line 50.
  • Clear and effective communicator at all levels in a professional manner
  • Willing to learn and possess a can do attitude but also be able to use your own initiative
  • Comfortable in working in a fast paced environment
  • Well organised with good time management skills
