Key responsibilities:
- Proactively manage a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure timely collections
- Build and maintain relationships with clients to facilitate smooth payment processes
- Resolve billing and payment-related issues and queries in a timely manner
- Review accounts regularly to ensure accurate information and effective credit management
- Provide regular updates on outstanding debts and escalate issues as necessary
- Assist in process improvements to enhance credit control effectiveness
Profile
The successful credit controller requires:
- Proven experience in a credit control role
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel
- Positive and proactive approach to handling customer relationships
