Your new companyBased on the outskirts of Manchester City Centre, our client, a market leading specialist, is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join the team. Your new roleWorking for this acclaimed company, you will join a small, close-knit accounts department and work alongside the existing Senior Credit Controller.Working on your own portfolio of clients, you will be tasked to keep company debts to a minimum and run a clean ledger. Contacting customers mainly via email with some phone-based chasing, you will ensure monies are in within the set due date parameters, with any queries and issues addressed promptly to avoid payment delays.A varied role where your excellent customer service and customer rapport ability combined with your numerical skills will really take the lead. As well as your standard credit control tasks, other duties will include:-

  • Dealing with customer's queries including sending copy invoices, proof of deliveries, etc;
  • Carrying out credit checks
  • Credit notes
  • Sending out monthly statements and on stop notices to customers
  • Posting and allocating incoming payments
  • Maintenance of customer records
  • Daily updates of the cash flow forecast
  • Performing any other tasks that may be necessary to guarantee
