Pay Bracket: £26,000 - £28,000

Location: Trafford Park

We are working exclusively with a forward-thinking, sociable business based in Trafford Park. They actively searching for a Credit Controller to support their Finance Team. This is deal for a self-motivated, confident Credit Controller who is looking for their next step in their career within a growing company and friendly team. You will be reporting into the Credit Manager assisting them daily allowing you to gain further experience too!

Responsibilities as a Credit Controller:


• Achieve monthly cash collection targets through proactive and overdue credit control
• Prioritise debt collection based on value and client payment profiles, ensuring compliance with policy requirements
• Maintain detailed records of account activity
• Monitor daily cash receipts to ensure accurate reporting data
• Chase aged debt via telephone and email
• Resolve invoicing queries by liaising with internal teams
• Process credit notes promptly after authorisation
• Process self-billing invoices accurately and within deadlines
• Prepare and reconcile payment applications
• Forecast and allocate cash receipts, ensuring unallocated items are monitored and cleared
• Provide monthly statements to clients
• Alert Head of Credit Control to potential bad debt risks promptly
