The Opportunity:

Working within a team, you will collect premium due from our brokers within agreed credit terms. Key responsibilities will include:

Taking a pro-active role in managing accounts and working towards individual targets
Accurately raising and issuing invoices, recording and allocating cash received
Performing regular complex reconciliations to broker statements
Contacting brokers by phone and email to chase payments of outstanding debts
Responding to relevant queries, liaising with underwriters and the broker service team as necessary and delivering excellent service
Assist in month end closure routines

We are looking for candidates who:

Have a good knowledge of accountancy software (Dynamics, Sage etc) and are proficient in Excel (pivot tables, and lookups)
Have previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable within the financial services / insurance industry
Possess strong communication, time managementand organisational skills
