Description
The key responsibilities of a Credit Controller will include:
- Debt management and collection of client accounts.
- Aged debt management.
- Monitor cash allocation and propose corrective action on un-allocated accounts where needed.
- Account Reconciliations
- Working to implement action plans for difficult / doubtful accounts.
- Provide updates on performance of accounts & provide regular updates on issues & sales ledger performance.
- To provide regular customer statements and downloads
- To ensure queries are maintained daily and resolved within the agreed timeframe.
- Maintaining close working relationships with other internal departments.
- To develop effective regular communication links with stakeholders
Profile
A successful Credit Controller must have:
- A minimum of 1 year Credit Control experience
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- A solid understanding of credit control procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
