CREDIT RISK TEAM LEADER

MONDAY - FRIDAY: 08.30 - 17.00

£28,000 to £32,000 PER ANNUM DOE

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Credit Risk Analyst to join a long-standing and successful company in Manchester.

You will be supporting their Finance Team with risk analysis, credit checks and debt recovery.

Day to Day Duties

As a Credit Risk Team Leader your duties will be:

  • To monitor and maintain customer credit accounts within agreed limits
  • To work with company credit insurance provider to review credit worthiness of new and existing customers and to report on overdue accounts
  • Ensuring the successful collection of cash and reduction of aged debt, in line with business targets
  • Manage the planning and release of customer orders subject to credit limit restrictions
  • Bad debt provision and ledger maintenance
  • Producing detailed and timely reports and analysis relating to short term cash-flow, uninsured and overdue debt

Essential Skills

As a Credit Risk Team Leader it is essential that you:

  • Have experience working within a busy Credit Risk position
  • Have a solid understanding of Finance
  • Have strong knowledge and practical experience of Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel

Desirable Experience

It would be desirable as a Credit Risk Team Leader if you:

  • Hold a Degree within a quantitative business discipline such as Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • Member of the Institute for Credit Management would be ideal
  • Are available to start as soon as possible
