Key Responsibilities:

  • To efficiently remotely monitor and control the contract fleet.
  • To efficiently diagnose and restart (when appropriate and safe to do so) any units that may have tripped.
  • To carry out initial fault finding and correctly record each stoppage inclusive of times.
  • To participate in scheduled shift system (40 Hour Week)

Background Required:

  • Knowledge on working with large engines
  • Familiar with CHP, Gas Engines, Generators, Industrial Plant or similar
  • X-Forces recommended - Navy / RAF / REME
  • Experience as a Service Engineer/ Maintenance Engineer/ Marine Engineer / Commissioning Engineer
  • Electrical or Mechanical qualifications or time served (NVQ, HNC or equivalent)
