Reed are pleased to bring you a new role with our trusted client in east Manchester, supporting their search for a new Customer Sales Specialist, to join their establish B2B customer support team.

This role plays an integral part of our clients superb reputation with their customers.

You’ll be responsible for managing small to medium spending account customers through various communication channels including telephone, email, and online platforms. Acting as one of the main point of contacts for processing orders, enquiry handling, and managing their backorder processes.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Process orders for your customer base
  • Efficiently manage and categorise the team inbox, ensuring all orders are processed in line with KPIs/SLAs.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls to a high standard.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Manage backorders and delays, keeping customers regularly updated.
  • Liaise with internal departments to achieve satisfactory customer outcomes.
  • Serve as a point of contact managing service-related issues through to resolution.
  • Work towards and achieve set KPIs and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with relevant Area Sales Managers
  • Provide outstanding service to customers to help increase sales growth.
  • Engage in upselling and quote chasing activities.
