My client has a requirement for a Data Migration Specialist on a 6-month initial contract. The client is a full-service digital agency who provide high performing digital teams that can act as an extension of their clients existing delivery teams. They do this by embedding brilliant product development and software engineering teams within their clients' businesses.

A Data Migration Specialist is required for one of their public sector/UK Government clients to help deliver a digital product.

You will be required to make a significant contribution to the technical design, testing, implementation, and delivery of web applications.

Responsibilities & Contributions

• Collaborate with the Product Owner, Technical BA, and Tech Lead to define requirements for the migration of data between legacy systems and a new Cloud service (on AWS)
• Data analysis and synthesis
• Define migration plan to migrate data from a customized Oracle system to various other systems
• Recommend migration resources and any ETL tooling
• Data Communication
• Data Governance
