Data Engineer - Manchester - Hybrid - 50k - 60k

My client are looking for an experienced data engineer to join their growing data team in the pharmaceutical industry, working in a fast-paced environment working with the Azure Data Platform, Databricks, SQL and Python.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure and Databricks technologies
  • Database management in SQL and T-SQL
  • Collaborate with data science team on Python scripting for data science solutions
  • Contribute to technical discussions with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose solutions
  • Help clients realise the potential of data science, machine learning, and scaled data processing within Azure / Databricks ecosystem
  • Support with planning, requirements refinement and work estimation
