Data Engineer - Manchester - Hybrid - 50k - 60k
My client are looking for an experienced data engineer to join their growing data team in the pharmaceutical industry, working in a fast-paced environment working with the Azure Data Platform, Databricks, SQL and Python.
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive salary of 50k - 60k (depending on relevant experience)

Role & Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure and Databricks technologies
- Database management in SQL and T-SQL
- Collaborate with data science team on Python scripting for data science solutions
- Contribute to technical discussions with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose solutions
- Help clients realise the potential of data science, machine learning, and scaled data processing within Azure / Databricks ecosystem
- Support with planning, requirements refinement and work estimation
What do I need to apply for the role
- Strong Azure Data platform experience (ADF, ADL, Synapse)
- Strong SQL
- Python exposure
- ETL/ELT
- Strong communication skills
