We are seeking a talented and driven Data Engineer to join an established team in Manchester. This role will involve working with large datasets, optimising cloud infrastructure, and ensuring data availability and performance for business intelligence and analytics purposes.
Data Engineer responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes on AWS.
- Optimise and manage AWS data storage and processing services (e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda).
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance within the AWS environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues, ensuring seamless data flow.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and best practices for AWS data solutions.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and cloud data warehousing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
As Data Engineer you will have:
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a strong focus on AWS technologies.
- Expertise in data engineering tools and services such as AWS Redshift, S3, Glue, Lambda, and EC2.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
