The Data Engineering Lead position is located in Manchester with a hybrid work model requiring two days in the office each week.
The salary for this role ranges from £70,000 to £80,000, depending on experience.
Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in Data Engineering, including a minimum of 2 years in a management role overseeing junior staff.
Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working with C-Suite clients, such as CTOs, are essential for this position.
Key responsibilities include managing ETL pipelines and engaging with key stakeholders while possessing expertise in Python and DevOps.

Role: Data Engineering Lead

Location: Manchester

Hybrid: 2 days a week in office

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 (dependent on experience)

Insight into the Company:

This global organisation is dominating the UK market at the moment and looking for a Data Engineer Lead to join their dynamic team! The ideal candidate will have 5 years experience in Data Engineering, with 2 years (minimum) experience with managing junior people.

You will also have strong stakeholder management experience and have demonstrable practise working with C-Suite clients e.g. CTOs.

Role and Responsibilities:

You will work on the roadmap
You will interact with key stakeholders
You will be in charge of managing and developing ETL pipelines from a variety of sources

Skills and Experience:

Essential to have expertise with:
- ETL pipelines, building, maintaining and scaling
- Python
- Stakeholder management
- CI/CD and DevOps
Desirable to have experience with:
- Azure

30 minute introductory chat with the Head of Strategy
Case study presentation around data and thoughts
Interview with Head of Data and Analytics + CTO
