I'm partnered with a global market leader in re-insurance, global specialty insurance and digital solutions who are looking to add a Data Specialist to their team.

My client is working to become even more digital leveraging the expertise of their IT & Tech specialists, and by using data and insights to support innovation.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Working closely in partnership with large system integrators to support the delivery of the programs that align to the company data strategy.
  • Working with delivery teams on a given program to ensure requirements are obtained, work has been identified, and support engineers in delivering the data products required as part of the programs.
  • Partnering with both business and technical team to ensure that solutions are aligned to the business needs a
  • Partners with data management and governance leads to ensure that projects are delivered at or under budget and follow all compliance, regulatory, and data quality requirements.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience of managing teams and/or projects with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Extensive hands on experience in SQL, Python, Data Integration/Ingestion and associated patterns - ETL tooling - Informatica IICS, ADF, Notebooks, Databricks, Warehousing technologies and associated patterns, Cloud platforms - Azure preferred.
  • Experience with on-prem and cloud versions of databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
  • Ability to work in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
