Job Description

Are you passionate about cybersecurity and eager to kick-start your career in a dynamic and encouraging environment? We’re excited to offer a graduate opportunity to join our team as a Security Analyst.

This role will enable you to learn from skilled engineers while actively contributing to protecting our information systems and networks from security breaches and cyber threats.

What will my role entail?

  • Proactive Monitoring: Regularly keep an eye on security systems to spot potential risks or vulnerabilities. Use pioneering tools to classify and understand any issues.
  • Swift Incident Response: Act quickly during security breaches! Be part of the SecOps Team to handle and fix incidents, investigate their causes, and suggest ways to prevent them in the future.
  • Enhance Security Tools: Help maintain and improve security tools to ensure they stay effective in detecting threats.
  • Stay Ahead of Threats: Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity tactics, like malware, ransomware, and phishing, to help shield the organisation from potential attacks.
  • Clear Reporting: Create easy-to-understand reports that highlight security incidents, emerging trends, and the organisation's overall cybersecurity health.
  • Policy & Process Development: Assist in shaping security policies, creating helpful guides (runbooks), and conducting audits to ensure everything is secure and compliant.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with service providers and other teams to safeguard networks, systems, and data.
Qualifications

You are a good fit for the role if you possess the following…

  • A passion for cyber security and technology
  • CompTIA Security+ qualification or similar
  • Ability to quickly pick up new skills
  • Knowledge of various security methodologies, processes, and technical security solutions (Crowdstrike, Netskope, Zscaler, SIEM, Mimecast, O365)
  • Solid grasp of the threat landscape
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to communicate security-related concepts to a broad variety of technical and non-technical staff.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, plus Windows and Linux operating systems
