Manchester City Council are looking for Four Domestic Cleaners to provide crisis cleaning services across the city. This role is essential in maintaining safe, clean, and secure environments in individuals' homes. The ideal candidate will be a responsive and flexible individual who can drive and has access to a vehicle, as the work is citywide.
Day-to-day of the role:- Provide high-quality cleaning services in homes across Manchester, ensuring environments are safe and tidy.
- Maintain the internal and external appearance and cleanliness of buildings and surrounding areas.
- Carry out inspections, liaise with customers, and report any identified issues.
- Respond efficiently and courteously to queries and correspondence from a wide range of internal and external customers, using tact and diplomacy.
- Update and extract information from management information systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Work collaboratively and independently to ensure safe working environments and practices, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Contribute to effective building security, operate security systems, lock premises, set security alarms, and ensure the safekeeping of keys.
- Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS on the update service.
- Valid Full UK Driving Licence .
- Ability to drive across Manchester as required.
- Experience in a similar role is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Working Hours are Monday to Friday 9.30am - 14.30pm
- You will be based at the Gorton Officer, Gorton Hub, 27 Garratt Way, M18 8HE, which is where you will collect the work van from.
