The Role
They are seeking experienced and motivated Mechanical Design Engineers / HVAC Design Engineers to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing mechanical and HVAC systems for a wide range of projects, ensuring optimal efficiency and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions.
  • Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and design documentation.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Perform load calculations, energy modeling, and system sizing to achieve optimal performance.
  • Conduct site surveys and inspections to assess project requirements and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Support the tendering process by providing technical input and cost estimates.
  • Ensure designs meet all relevant health, safety, and environmental standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in HVAC system design within the building services sector.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and industry-specific simulation tools.
  • Strong understanding of UK building regulations, codes, and industry standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on-site in Manchester, 5 days a week.
