EAL Teaching Assistant - Arabic - Manchester - ASAP start Prospero Teaching are are looking to recruit a full-time EAL Teaching Assistant to start working at a popular secondary school in North Manchester. The role will start as soon as possible and will continue until July 2025 where there will be the opportunity of the role becoming permanent. All applicants must hold a TEFL or TESOL qualification and have recent experience working with young people whose first language is not English. It is also essential that you are able to read write and converse in Arabic. When you are in the role you will be there to ensure all young people whose first language is Arabic have access to the highest levels of support which will enable them to flourish across the curriculum. You will make a difference to those students who have additional needs and require additional support and extended services to overcome barriers to learning. You will be joining a team that is committed to improving outcomes for all pupils. You will have excellent interpersonal skills. The school has been recently inspected by Ofsted and has continued its remarkable rating of good, which it has held for many years. The school strives to provide the best they can for all their pupils, which is shown in their strong investment in intervention and the help you will provide.
