We are partnering with a friendly and dedicated Early Years team at an outstanding primary school. The team is seeking a committed and creative Learning Support Assistant to join them. The school prides itself on delivering a fun and balanced curriculum that builds children's skills and confidence.

About the Role:

You will be supporting children within the class transitioning into Reception and helping to develop a welcoming, calming learning environment. The role is to support the Class Teacher and additional members of staff within the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Settling children within their new classroom
  • Introducing a new learning routine for learners
  • As the school year progresses, providing short intervention sessions e.g. one-to-one activities and Phonics sessions
  • Setting up engaging learning environments
  • Be flexible and patient with an empathetic approach
  • Manage time effectively and multitask
  • Collaborate well as part of a team
  • Be familiar with the Early Years framework
