Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant school in Oldham.

Position: EYFS Teaching Assistant

Location: Royton, Oldham

Pay Rate: £85-£90 per day

Role and Responsibilities:

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the class teacher to deliver engaging and effective learning experiences for children in their early years. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with the planning and delivery of activities that support children's development in line with the EYFS framework.

Providing one-on-one and small group support to children, helping them to achieve their learning goals.

Supporting children's social and emotional development, fostering a safe and nurturing environment.

Observing and assessing children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.

Assisting with classroom management, preparing learning materials, and maintaining a tidy and stimulating learning environment.

Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting the school's values and ethos.

Collaborating with colleagues and participating in team meetings to discuss and plan for the needs of the children.

Qualifications and Skills:

A genuine passion for working with young children.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A patient and caring nature.

Previous experience in an EYFS setting is desirable but not essential.

A commitment to ongoing professional development.
