Tradewind is seeking an enthusiastic, flexible, and highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years team. This lively school has an EYFS unit which includes a 26-place Nursery and a Reception class with 30 pupils. This school prides themselves on their dedicated staff and supportive governing body. Rated "Good" by Ofsted, they are committed to ongoing improvement to provide the highest standards for their children.

About the Role:

  • Position: Level 3 Teaching Assistant in EYFS
  • Location: M16
  • Start Date: Immediate start available
  • Schedule: Full-time

Competitive Pay: £84 - £90 per day, depending on experience.

About You:

The ideal candidate will support the progress and attainment of a high-achieving class, working closely with the class teacher and providing targeted one-to-one assistance to a pupil with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers with lesson delivery, classroom management, and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Provide one-on-one support to pupils with learning challenges, ensuring they understand and engage with the curriculum
  • Help prepare teaching materials and organise resources for lessons
  • Build positive relationships with pupils based on trust and mutual respect
  • Work effectively with the key stage and broader staff team to share resources, best practices, and support
Essential Requirements:
  • Excellent references highlighting KS1/KS2 experience
  • A complete employment history with any CV gaps explained
  • Right to work in the UK
