We are looking for a motivated KS1 Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Didsbury, Manchester. This long-term KS1 Level 3 Teaching Assistant role offers the chance to contribute meaningfully to pupilsā education and development.
The Level 3 Teaching Assistant Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils access the curriculum and reach their potential.
- Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
- Support children with additional needs by adapting resources and strategies to ensure inclusivity.
- Create a nurturing and positive environment that promotes confidence and independent learning.
- Assist with classroom management, transitions, and maintaining a calm and focused atmosphere.
- Collaborate with staff and parents to monitor and support pupil progress and well-being.

Level 3 Teaching Assistant Requirements
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning).
- Has experience working within a primary school setting, supporting EYFS, KS1, or KS2 pupils.
- Is patient, empathetic, and passionate about helping children succeed.
- Possesses strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Is proactive, flexible, and able to adapt to different classroom environments.
