Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students? We are an established education supply agency seeking a dedicated and empathetic One-to-One Support Assistant to work with a pupil who requires additional learning support and may display challenging behavior. This role is based at a welcoming school in Chorlton, and the position is available to start ASAP!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one support to a pupil with specific learning and behavioral needs.

  • Assist with the development of academic and social skills.

  • Work closely with the teaching staff to implement tailored support strategies.

  • Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.

  • Use patience, understanding, and effective communication to support the pupil's emotional and educational needs.

Ideal Candidate:
  • Previous experience working with children with additional needs, including challenging behavior.

  • A calm, patient, and flexible approach to supporting pupils.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals.

  • A passion for helping students reach their full potential.

  • Relevant qualifications in education or special needs support are an advantage but not essential.
