The setting offers a holistic approach to education, preparing students for further education, training, and employment.Responsibilities:* Support students with SEND, including those with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and challenging and explosive behaviours.* Provide 1:1 and small group support for students, ensuring they are engaged, supported, and progressing in their learning.* Apply a holistic approach to supporting students, focusing on their academic, emotional, and social development.* Assist with implementing behaviour management strategies to create a positive and safe learning environment, especially for students with challenging and explosive behaviours.* Collaborate with the class teacher and other professionals to develop and deliver personalised learning plans.* Track student progress and adjust support strategies as needed to meet individual needs.Requirements:* Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant, particularly in a SEND or PRU setting.* Experience supporting children with ASC, ADHD, SEMH, and challenging and explosive behaviours.* A valid DBS on the Update Service, or the ability to obtain one immediately.* A holistic approach to supporting students, with a focus on their emotional, social, and academic well-being.* Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations.* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.* Passionate about supporting students to achieve their potential in a PRU and College setting.This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive environment that caters to the individual needs of students.
