The competitive pay rate for this position is between £84 and £90 per day, depending on experience. This position will commence ASAP on a full-time basis. You will be required for the rest of the academic year with the possibility of extension.

About youThe successful Teaching Assistant will be responsible for the progress and attainment of a high achieving class. In addition to this, you will work collaboratively with the class teacher and support the academic attainment of child with SEMH/SEN needs on a one-to-one basis.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons, managing classroom activities, and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Provide one-on-one support to pupils with learning challenges, ensuring their understanding of the curriculum
  • Assist in the preparation of teaching materials, including setting up equipment and organising resources for lessons
  • Build a positive rapport with all pupils based on trust and mutual respect
  • Work effectively as a team player with the key stage and wider staff to share advice, resources and best practice
