We are seeking a compassionate and skilled individual with a solid background in school-based support roles. About the Role:As an SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play an integral part in the daily support and encouragement of students with a range of special educational needs. Working closely with teaching staff, you'll assist in creating an inclusive learning environment that fosters confidence and independence. Your role will involve:

  • Providing one-on-one and small group support to SEND students.
  • Implementing tailored strategies to meet individual learning needs and objectives.
  • Helping maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Supporting the class teacher in monitoring student progress and adapting learning activities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or in a similar role within a school or educational setting.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting SEND students.
  • A strong understanding of SEND and an empathetic approach to addressing individual needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to enhance the learning experience for all students.
