A dynamic and inclusive secondary school located in the heart of Tameside are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistants to join their team with immediate effect. This role involves working full time Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3pm during term time. The role involves providing 1-2-1 support to pupils with learning difficulities. Your primary responsibilies will include:

  • Assisting pupils with their daily learning tasks
  • Tailoring support to meet individual learning needs
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborating with teachers and other staff to support pupil development

The ideal candidates will:

  • Have a kind, patient, and empathetic manner
  • Possess experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting
  • Have experience supporting students with SEND
  • Be passionate about education and dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential
  • Demonstrate reliability, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic
  • Have a DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
