Independent SEND Primary School in Openshaw & in Droylsden

Our independent SEND primary school in Openshaw is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our SEND team!
Position: Teaching Assistant (SEND)Location: Independent SEND Primary School, Openshaw and Droylsden siteContract: Full-time / Part-time availableSalary: Competitive, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEND in the classroom.
- Assist with lesson delivery, helping to adapt resources and activities to meet individual learning needs.
- Support students in developing both academically and socially, encouraging independence and confidence.
- Work closely with the class teacher and other staff to ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Help monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as required.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have a genuine passion for working with children with SEND.
- Are patient, empathetic, and able to build strong relationships with students.
- Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous experience in a SEND or teaching assistant role is preferred, but not essential.
