That's why we're seeking an experienced and skilled SEND Teaching Assistant to work with a pupil who requires extra help with their behaviour.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with children with special educational needs, particularly those with behavioural difficulties. They should be patient, understanding, and able to adapt to the unique needs of each child they work with.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you'll be responsible for providing one-to-one support for the pupil in question, helping them to stay on task, manage their emotions, and develop positive behaviours. You'll work closely with the school's SENCO and other professionals to develop a personalised plan for the pupil, and you'll provide regular progress updates to ensure that they're making the best possible progress.
