�? Teaching Assistant - Supporting 6 Students with Autism in Mainstream Setting �?

Are you passionate about helping students with Autism access their learning? This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to support 6 students with Autism in a mainstream school setting. The students have no behaviour issues, and your role will focus on helping them access the curriculum and supporting their individual learning needs in a structured and supportive environment. �??

The Role:

?? Student Support - Work closely with 6 students with Autism to help them follow their timetables and access their lessons in a mainstream setting.???�? One-to-One Support - Provide tailored support to help students engage in the classroom and thrive academically.�? Small Group Interventions - Lead small groups to focus on specific learning goals and support students' development.?? Varied Timetable - Your day will be dynamic, working in-class with students and also providing out-of-class support.?? Administrative Support - Assist the SENDCo with updating reports and other administrative tasks when you're not in class.?? No Behaviour Issues - The students are focused on learning and do not present behavioural challenges, making the role centred on academic and social support.

What We Need from You:

?? Experience with Autism or a passion for supporting students with additional needs.?? Flexible and Organised - Be ready to work across different tasks in a varied timetable.?? Strong Communication Skills - Work effectively with teachers, students, and staff to support students' learning and development.? Team Player - Collaborate with the wider school team, including the SENDCo, to provide the best support.?? An enhanced DBS check (don't worry if you don't have one yet, we can help!).�?�? The legal right to work in the UK.
