Prospero Teaching are working closely with a successful primary school in Manchester to recruit an experienced SEN TA to work with children in EYFS with additional needs. This is a part-time SEN TA role to start in December.

The SEN TA will be based in EYFS and the role will involve supporting individuals with learning, play and communication activities. You will also deliver interventions to groups of children with additional needs, particularly autism.

You will need to have experience in an SEN TA role and to have good understanding of the curriculum and expectations for EYFS. You must have knowledge and experience of delivering interventions programmes, how to support children with SEN, and have a compassionate, caring nature.

The SEN TA is required from December for this ongoing part-time role. Daily pay is in the range of £50 to £60 depending on experience.

Essential requirements for this SEN TA role:

  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS
  • SEN or Teaching Assistant qualification and experience
  • Professional references covering the last two full years
  • Experience working in a UK Primary School
  • Experience as an SEN TA supporting children with additional needs, particularly autism
