We believe in providing exceptional education that empowers students to reach their full potential. We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dynamic team and support our upper Key Stage 2 students on their educational journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons that align with the curriculum objectives of upper Key Stage 2.
  • Provide individual and small group support to students, reinforcing key concepts and addressing any learning gaps.
  • Assist in assessing student progress and maintaining accurate records of their achievements.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels supported and encouraged to participate.
  • Assist in the preparation of learning resources and materials, ensuring they are accessible and appropriately differentiated.
  • Help to manage student behaviour, ensuring a safe and respectful classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience working as a Teaching Assistant or Higher-Level Teaching Assistant.
  • Strong understanding of the upper Key Stage 2 curriculum and the ability to support students in achieving their learning goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to adapt to the varying needs of students and the school environment.
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to the holistic development of every child.
