Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons that align with the curriculum objectives of upper Key Stage 2.
- Provide individual and small group support to students, reinforcing key concepts and addressing any learning gaps.
- Assist in assessing student progress and maintaining accurate records of their achievements.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels supported and encouraged to participate.
- Assist in the preparation of learning resources and materials, ensuring they are accessible and appropriately differentiated.
- Help to manage student behaviour, ensuring a safe and respectful classroom environment.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience working as a Teaching Assistant or Higher-Level Teaching Assistant.
- Strong understanding of the upper Key Stage 2 curriculum and the ability to support students in achieving their learning goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to adapt to the varying needs of students and the school environment.
- A genuine passion for education and a commitment to the holistic development of every child.
