Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Location: M22 Wythenshawe

Pay Rates: £12.83 to £14.23 per hour

Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday

Reeson education are working closely with a primary school in the M22 area of Manchester to find them a teaching assistant to support a pupil in year 6 with special educational needs.

This teaching assistant role is to with is view to start in Jan 2025 and is a long term, ongoing role.

Role

• The school are looking for a teaching assistant to support on a 1:1 basis with a young girl with SEMH needs
• She struggles socially and needs a teaching assistant who can be nurturing, supportive and have a positive effect on her
• A parental figure who will build a long-lasting rapport with her would be ideal
• The pupil is a loving, bright and trusting individual who really values the relationships she makes
• As a teaching assistant you would work on a 1:1 basis with her leading interventions and carrying out fun activities outside of the classroom

This teaching assistant role will be:

• Monday to Friday each week
• School hours with a 30-minute dinner break
• Based in KS2 Year 6
• 1:1 support

It will be beneficial if the teaching assistant has had experience working with and supporting:

• SEN/SEMH
• Working in year 6 or KS2
• Working on 1:1 BASIS
• Delivering interventions and carrying out fun, engaging activities
